Sierra is going to have a field day

The guys at Sierra Electronics are going to have a field day when they open my radio I sent them yesterday. My Clarion II had crappy reception, was stuck in an endless tuning cycle, and had no display. Oh, not to mention the missing button on the unit.

I sure do doubt they will fix it for the standard $100 charge.

Im sure it will be. I have heard good things, but my radio looked pretty messed up. But we will see.

They called today. Said he had to replace a capacitor, and everything is working now. He said I had already reached $170, and that if i wanted to low volume issue fixed on the AM side, it would be more.

I was under the impression that they would call if it was to exceed $100, i guess not.

Oh well.

Well, I hope not because I wasn't trying to bash them. Moreso point out that they would probably have a hard time with my radio seeing that I thought it was dead until I heard about them.
