Those are the same I put in mine. Here is what Sylvania recommends. These are meant to handle vibration a little better.

Thank you for your inquiry. You can use part 9003SU to upgrade your
motorcycle to our SilverStar ULTRA. The product can be installed in the
place of either original equipment part 9003 or H4.

Sincerely,

I just picked up anHID_Bulb for my 1100 at harbor freigt for $4.99.

I don't knwo how well it will work as my Wing is still dismantled. Nor do I know how long it will last. but for 5 bucks I figured I couldn't lose.

To Change to these bulbs do you need these ring adapters or they just fit right in the stock socket??
Mine is a 93 also, and I didn't need the rings.

Thanks Mike! Clears that up. I was wondering why they were selling these rings on Ebay. I'll be changing my headlightout in the next couple days.

So besides Harbor Freight, where else sells them. Tried the local auto parts they don't carry that bulb, can order it but don't carry. Will Walmart or some of those places have them?

That's a killer price on EBay. $28 a pair is cheap. My local Checkers Auto Parts sells them for $49 a pair but they have a rebate of $10 going on I have to send in. It's not automactic at the register unfortunately. If I could wait to receive the bulbs, I'd buy the ebay bulbs. Little hard to prove defective bulbs or problems with damaging the bulbs in route or these seems to seconds with packaging damage.

The 9003SU bulbs are $17.50 for the pair after rebate right now at Amazon. No tax, no shipping. No commission for me, just a happy customer.

Here's the quote off Cyclemax

This is a pair of H-4 headlight bulb shims. These laser cut stainless steel shims allow you to use aftermarket H-4 halogen bulbs in your 1998-2000 style GL1500 headlight without any alignment problems. These will be required with the 60/55 Watt bulbs that are sold on this page. The 1988-1997 style headlight does not require these shims to use aftermarket bulbs.

Just search Amazon for 9003SU. Or try this link.
Thanks JW. I looked at those but I also looked at the 9006SU (came as part of the search) and they havea way different package. I just wanted make sure I was looking at the right one. The 9006's actually say SU on the package, I couldnt find the "SU" anywhere. Thanks again...
