Silverstar headlight

I finally got a chance to try out my sealed beam Silverstar last night and I gotta say it was a pretty scary experience. It puts out much better light than my last setup (stock bucket with 100w bulb) but the beam is straight ahead, high or low beam. The road out of my neighborhood is winding and I literally couldn't see a darn thing around the corners.

Guess I'm going to need aux lamps. Any inexpensive ones that work well without killing my battery?

I put a pair of cheapo Wal-Mart units on, but I removed the bulbs and replaced them with 35 watt bulbs. Doesn't draw enough power to cause problems, and lights up plenty. Do a search here, you'll see pictures of several people (including me) who have done it.

I have a pair of the Wal-Mart cheapies on mine. I could not find a 35W set but Oreilly's ordered me the bulbs, $4 each. The aux lamps definitely make a difference.
