and here I am sequestered away at work coming up with financial models that look so slick I should sell them to the Feds for political fodder

I get back to my desk - a little cross-eyed from trying to spin "pivot tables" in this newfangled MS Office/Excel - when I see my cell has a message and I check it.

It was Jluvs2dive - seems our 'ol friend CJ got "lost" on the day's ride :cheeky1:. John wanted Mel's cell so he could "find" him :dude:.

Well, by the time I dug it up from my PM files - seems he was "found".

Hear tell they are having one fantastic time - wish I could go. Hear tell they don't want to come home - don't blame them. Hear tell that sometimes CJ goes off an a "walkabout"! :action:

Have fun guys and put in a few miles for me while yer there - say hi to all the forum rats too!!:waving:

I wanted to go to the meeting so badly it hurts. But with family and work demands I couldn't make it. I sure wish everyone a great time.

When you are done riding for the day have a cold one for me.

Looks like I should be able to make it next year wherever its going to be!!

JLuvs was just showing off 'cause he rides faster than I do! And so does Exavid, Exavid's BMW brother (so..... nobody's perfect!), and Motorcycle Pete!

Guess I found out I wasn't as fast as I thought I was! But me and Red are still alive, and still having fun, slow or not! They all tried to make me feel better by saying, "well, CJ, you were riding two-up!" Yeah, maybe....but I think even "one-up" those boys would be faster than me. I'm slower now after I've had my face in the gravel!

But that's all okay! What's that old song say? "Gotta find a man with a s-l-o-w hand......!"

Missed you, BlackDog, hope you can make next year's Nassir....... the roads in Colorado are to weep for......

Tain't true CJ, I ride like an old man. I've seen folks who can handle a bike, sadly I don't number among them.

'Course I did catch John in a long stern chase but he was probably worrying about that shiny blue paint.:action:

Sounds like you guys had a great time - man - do I wish I could have made it. Sorta stretched mine out early in the summer and now's work time.

I know what you mean about Jluvs. The last words I heard heading up the Washington coast were when we stopped for some construction traffic.......

John: "I forgot to ask you how you feel about passing....?"
Me: Sure pass away we'll follow...
All I Saw was blue dot with a tiny tail light on the horizon the rest of the day..... :cheeky1: Great fun though!!

Oh you guys are so funny. I just mosy along like an old man on my old man's bike. I have no idea what you are talking about.
