I just got a quote from the Honda dealer here.....$93 Canadian (tax in) for a ignition switch assembly....I saw the microfiche and it looks to me like the solenoid that folks here are telling me should be replaced however why the name ignition switch? Is it the same thing? Pls advise before I order.....comes with solenoid and a bunch of other related parts/screws etc? Any direction would be appreciated here...or an on-line source for after-market parts as this above. Thanx all.

Does it look like the unit by the battery? Then it is a solenoid. Ignition switch is an odd term for a solenoid. You should ask them to clarify the term. I would hope that the parts man would know what he is selling. For detailed info see the Reference and FAQ article titled "Starter system woes".
