You can add an aux input to the cassette player, use a FM modulator and listen through the FM radio.

I have a Zumo 550 too, and I use its MP3 player function as the music source.

For a direct connection to the speakers, you will need an audio amplifier.

As Erdeniz said, you can use a FM modulator that plays through your FM radio. I have one on my bike and also the same one in my 2002 Silverado. These work very well I think. Here is where I got the ones I use.

Perhaps this is what your looking for. Go to Cyclemax.com look at GL1500 electrical and you will find a GPS input harness. part#CM1024 it's $60. This will connect your GPS into the intercom system so you still have radio until the GPS speaks.

My Garmin has a built in FM modulator. You can switch it from internal speakers to FM
