I own a plane jane interstate so the list should be fairly small. What im looking for is some input on keeping a few parts on hand while i can still get them and on ebay you never know when there gonna dry up. So i wanna start getting some more common things now.

I just got a 98 1500 final drive for $26 dollars What a buy i think:clapper:

Thinking i should get a rectifier/regulator

Pulse generators. Do all 84/87 interchange?

Ignition module. Again do they all interchange?

Carb kits and air valves. All the same?

Anything thing else you can think of?

Amen to that! The best way to handle that is to have two identical bikes then you always have a spare part. Most likely the gods will become irritated about that and your garage will catch fire though...

Thwe pulse generators are different from 1985. They are mounted on the front of the engine from 1985.
