Way back int he day there as w relatively cheap accessory for Harley's mostly. Little do-hickeys that you put inline on the spark plug wires that basically were like little strobes. they flashed with the ignition spark.

Anyone know if they are still available and if so from where?

Ummm...BW, if you're putting those on your Wing, you'll run into problems.

First, those aren't resistor caps.

Second, the rubber water boot that goes around the plug caps and seals around the block will be directly over the lighted parts.

I just need the cores out of em...will splice them into the wires.

Wisconsin rules say no flashing lights especially red. Your choice though. I know you don't listen too well.

Hadn't though of that. Of course they won't actually be visible just the light on the motor would be. Wouldn't be visible from the front at all, I see guys with LED kits that change color all the time, of course they aren't exactly flashing.

Could maybe claim they were for diagnostic purposes. In fact that is one of the reasons I want them, to be able to tell exactly which cylinder may be misfiring or what ever if I were to have an ignition problem.

have to give it some thought now though...

As far as listening goes, I listen quite well, when what I'm hearing is actually worth listening to.

I have a couple of similar ones that HF sells for diagnosing ignition problems. They aren't LEDs though just little light bulbs. One thing to remember is that any kind of flasher like that in the ignition circuit will weaken the spark somewhat.
