I have a 1200 Aspencade 1986 and the speakers are in need of being replaced. Has anyone found a really good set that fits??

Try Polk Audio 401's. They're 4 inch waterproof speakers and I've used them on both 1200's. Sound great and you can pick them up on ebay for about $55.00 a pair. I highly recommend them as I've been through many rain storms and they just keep on working.

I just installed 4 - Polk DB401's in my 1500 last Friday with a 300 amp 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amp. The amp is about the size of a box of checkbooks. They are power hungery and require an amp to get the most out of them.

Sounds Great.

I got the polks on amazon for $ 40.00 a pair including shipping.
Watch for a couple days as the price changes daly.

I couldn't make the speakers with the additional tweeter in the center fit behind the GL12 speaker grills.
