Can anyone tell me about a special edition 04 or 05 Gl1800 with black powercoated wheels and posible different exaust from the factory i have heard rumor about 1000 or 1200 bikes released from Honda as a limmited edition?

Welcome to the forum. Honda never made a special GL1800 like you describe, it's just rumor.

Yup, my 05 has a couple of badges, and a message on the display that says 30th Anniversary when you first start it. It will have powder coated wheels when the painter gets done with the extra set I dropped off, but didn't come with them.:smiler:

Yea, I kinda hope so too! That off roading on a Wing kinda sucks a little.:shock: Especially when you try to come back on the pavement and start bouncing sideways across the road.:crying::crying:

You better powder coat those wheels black for the lowest co-efficient of drag which will help you go faster and actually save you gas money by increasing your MPG.................. what........? you don't believe me?:raspberry:
