I am new to the forum as far as posting but have always found the topics and posting of great help. I have an 85 gl1200a. and find myself needing to replace the clutch plates. I am going to attempt replacement with the motor still in place so I want to have all the parts and tools necessary before beginning. I have seen a sample of a tool (Haynes manual) that describes two tools used to break the compression plate lose from the clutch plates. Anyone know the exact dimensions and any other tools I might need?

Not from what I have read. This will be my first attempt although I have rebuilt the slave cylinder once before.
