I'm replacing the fork seals. How do I remove the "speed sensor" on an 83 Aspy? I can't find how to do it in any shop manuals.

on the very very bottom on the very inside there is one phillips screw hiding down there. just take that out and it should slide out. JB

I know its an electronic sensor . I would think it might unplug . Its also possible that it still uses a screw to hold the wire coonector into the speed sensor . Sorry I dont have first hand knowledge on this aspect .

The sensor is held onto the hub with one screw only. If you want to unplug it too, you're in for a lot of work. The cable unplugs up behind the fairing behind the weight.

Got it. Now for the air lines to the caps.
