Good day to all

My 85 aspencade decided to make a squeaky noise yesterday in the middle of a great ride!

When alone on the machine it's a light squeak, when we are two on it, it gets louder.

I do beleive it comes from the rear suspension, is it a lack of grease or the suspension itself dying quietly???

Thanks for your advice!!!

It may be the rubber mount bushings for the shocks getting dry and wore out. Try pushing down on the rear end while it's on the side stand and see if you can duplicate the squeak.

Thanks for your quick answer...

And yes the squeak is there when a make the rear end go up and down.

Can I do something about it?
Or should I go to the dealer?

Thanks again:)
