starter motor

i have taken the starter motor of and took it apart cleaned it up and it looks llike new. when i trun the starter motor prope in the main tunnel some times it james when there is nothing on it and i dont know why? i cant see what could be cousing it to happen ?

Did you inspect the gears in the starter motor carefully. There has been a problem with a plastic gear in some starters breaking and causing the starter to jam.
