HEY, THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ASK, IS THERE A SIMPLE WAY TO TEST THE STARTER ON THAT 82' GL-1100 TO MAKE SURE IT IS BUSTED. I KNOW THAT THE WORD SIMPLE MAY NOT GET USED A LOT WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE OLDER GOLDWINGS. BUT I WAS HOPEING TO BE ABLE TO CONFIRM SOMEWAY WITHOUT REMOVEING THE ENGINE.

IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THE STARTING SYSTEM THAT MIGHT HELP.

ALSO WHAT IS A GOOD SPARK PLUG TO USE?

THANKS A LOT JASON!! I WAS HOPEING IT I COULD GET THROUGH THIS EASYER BUT OH WELL. I WILL TRY THE CAR BATTERY BYPASS IDEA. THERE SURE ARE A LOT OF UNKNOWN TRICKS TO WORKING ON THE GOLDWING SO I MIGHT HAVE MORE QUESTIONS TO COME
