Hey all...

I am researching Stebel horns... They are said to be amongst the loudest...

Anyway... I found some web pages for the descriptions, and also for the audio files of what some of the better or more interesting horns sound like... Can't really go by the volume it plays on your computer, but the different sounds are what is interesting here I think..

Nautilus- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=17&uso=&tipologia=TUNING

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/public/slnautilusCS.swf

Truck- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=17&uso=&tipologia=TUNING

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=hltuningtruck.swf

Vintage car horns- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=16&uso=&tipologia=TUNING

Brio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=15&uso=&tipologia=TUNING

Audio #1- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shbrio_1.swf
Audio #2- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shbrio_2.swf

A meep-meep horn sound-
HF80- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=1&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROMAGNETICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shhf80_1.swf

A big car horn sound-
TM80- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=2&uso=&IDprodotto=9&tipologia=ELECTROMAGNETICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shtm80_2.swf

A big car sound- just a little louder-
TM80 Magnum- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=3&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROMAGNETICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shtm80_m.swf

GP2- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=5&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shgpgm_gp2.swf

European Hi-Lo siren sound-
PRM V2-IPG- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=7&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shrail_prmv2_ipg.swf

BP3- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=8&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shbpbm_bp3.swf

Musical-
MP5- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=9&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- there are 18 different 'songs'

The rest are not really useable on a bike (even as big as a Goldwing), but dare to dream...

A more heavy duty application (maybe too much for a motorcycle to handle)-
VM2- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=10&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shm_tm2_vm2.swf

Nautical (has really long horns)-
NM2- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=11&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shheavy_tm2l_nm2.swf

Heavy Duty (not really practical on a bike, but we can dream, can't we?)-
JUM1- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?IDserie=12&uso=&tipologia=PNEUMATICS

Audio- http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/suoni.asp?IDsuono=shheavy_jum1.swf

Anyway, I am thinking maybe the truck, or the Nautilus

Please complete the poll- :readit: What would be your personal preference for a Goldwing...

If YOU were going to use one on your bike, which would you use (without considering cost)? If you would like to let us know why you would choose a particular horn, please do.

I had one on my suzy lc1500 and they are loud and even my son in law and a few of his friends bought them for their boats. I bought it in 2003 and the price then was like 35 bucks shipped. I think I had the truck horn but mine was all chrome.

For me it is a toss up between the Nautilus and the TM80 Magnum. I like both of them.
