ok i put like 20 miles on my baby 83 aspy 1100 and she stoped smoking untill i got on it to catch up to my brother and it made a smoke screen so thick i could not see anything behind me what are some causes of that

mine turned out to be the water pump

im not sure how long it sat but it was on its side stand when i got it it is dripping a little coolant frome the weep hole so i think it may be watter pump i am going to change coolant to non silicat today and do a flush to see if that helps
