While I suppose it's possible to sell something that cheap, if you are willing to believe that they can ship something that big for free, I would have to say you are more optimistic than me!

Actually it appears to be a valid domain. But I think based on the .shop domain, not all domain search engines will be able to provide the info

Thanks for that info. It wasn't showing in the Domain Name Registrars I've used over the past 20+ years.

That said it was created last month or 29 days ago.

There has been allot of domains that download entire web sites and rebrand them with their own information (or not) but but with their own contact info and payment systems lately.

Many folks getting ripped off with the new scams going around. an https:// domain doesn't mean what it used to.

If I'm unsure about a business on-line I find their physical address on the site and do a street view in Google Maps. You would be surprised what you find.

Again, thanks for another DNS resource.

Save yourself a lot of time and hassle. Go out in the back yard, take out two twenties and light them on fire. 99.9% of the time when you see a deal that is too good to be true it is. Check out prices from reputable shops and see what bike garages sell for and you'll see that they are far more than $40 including shipping. J.M.O. though.

I use this site to get an idea on the validity of a website, not perfect maybe, but very helpful. Website Validator: Verify a Website Now (2023) Just type the name in the search bar and it will give you an assessment of the site.

Thanks for that link. Could be useful, but if you detect something is amiss, I would still do a "Who Is Domain Name Search" and look for "Creation Date and web server location"

So you know, I searched the Domain Names of about 27 of 150+ Websites I've created since 1987 and all came back with a 100% Score. The only time this score changed was if I added an extension I didn't have registered or in use (Think: .com, .org, .net, etc) and I got a couple of scores like 2/100 or 7/100.

I even searched their own website: "scam-detector.com" and it reported 100% but the verbiage was exactly that of all my returns.

Also, a bit of very interesting information on the scam-detector domain.

On one (1) Domain Name Registrar; My DNS Search reveals the Domain Name expired on 7 January 2020 and is owned by General Electric Corp.

Yet on another Domain Name Registrar: The DNS Search show the Domain Owner as "Private" and expires - 6 January 2024.

Obviously Domain Name Records are not getting updated correctly across the Internet.

And for Gold Wing Facts Administrators. I'm not soliciting business, I'm too busy trying to get "Goldie Wing" put back together so I can ride mid-June when I no longer have to drive my Big Yellow School Bus! ‹(•¿•)›…
