finally got to ride on saturday, after about 1 hour of riding i stoped to get gas and when i restarted the bike both the turn signal lights in the gauge cluster were lit also the temp and fuel gauge were pinned all the way up and the tac stayed at 1000rpm.this stayed like this for around 30mins on the ride home and then just as suddenly everything went back to normal only to start over again once the bike was shut down then restartedany help or idea's would be greatly appreceated.

bad ground where the connectors enter the fairing on the left side. Bet - someone greased them.

I second the bad ground. If not there it could be in another place, but ground is your culprit.

Thanks for the input i'll start checking the ground that goes into the fairing on the left side.

as said,, check the plug, clean the contacts, switch cleaner will do fine, then grease the terminals with dialectric grease if you have some
