OK - removed carbs, tried carb cleaner (works waaay to slow) andisop. alchohol (works better). What is the stongest cleaner I can use to just dip the metal parts or scub with an old toothbrush (like the float bowl or jets)? Maybe I should try acetone or MGK? Any other CHEAP cleaners? I know to remove the non-metal ;)

Thanks, Brian

Go to any auto parts store and see if they have Berrymans Chem-Tool in a spray can. Always works wonders for me...

They also make a Chem-Dip that works very well. You need to remove ALL plastic and rubber parts BEFORE dipping though!

It even comes in its own 1 gallon can with a screen and handle to lower and raise your parts.

Berryman's is great stuff, I've used it for years. But it probably won't clean the low speed jets in your carbs if they are clogged good like mine were.
