i want to remove the trunk racks on my 1200 & 1500. then put them on when traveling. any ideas for covering the holes?

Auto Zone, or Advanced Auto and get some of the rubber hole plugs. Either that, or small nut and bolt with the chrome caps on them.

But if you don't mind serving my curiosity, why would you want to take them off only to put them back on when you travel?
