Hey eerybody,

I'm looking at swapping the fork springs, from my 1994 SE, to my "New to me" 1997 Aspencade.
I'm curious, are there any "Differences", or procedures that I need to follow? I had put Progressive springs in my old bike, about 5 years ago. I want to change the Stock springs from my "New" 1997 Aspencade, with the "Progressive springs" from my 1994 SE. Thanks for any help.

Progressive Suspension #11-1152 fits all GL-1500s.
20.50 " Long free length <>1.35" OD <> 35/80 Lbs/In.

Quick question. Can I just "Pop the Caps" and swap the springs? Or, do I have to worry about shims, or anything else? I do know, that I need to replace the fork oil. I will do this with 15w. Thanks again.

Sure, no shims, but while you have them out, worth measuring length for to gauge spring health.
