Taller windshield for 1200 with a vent

Im a little over average height at 6'1, and my wife is about 5'9. the edge of the top of the windshield is in my line of site, I either have to sit way up or slouch down to have it out of my way. I saw some windshields on ebay that advertise 2" higher than stock and some had vents. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on them. If you have installed one let me know how you like it and if it made a difference. Since Im in Texas and its summer 10 1/2 months out of the year I would prob get one with a vent, how much airflow do they let come through. Thanks Wig

I bought one from jcwhitney.com, It fit perfect and is 4 inches taller than stock. They have them with or without the vent.

im running a memphis shades tall with vent from ebay 120 with free shipping. seller is gm cycles

Is it worth paying the extra for the vent, i.e. does it let a decent amount of air though?

I installed the vent on my shield after I cut it down, I really like it so far. Not so much the air it lets through that helps but it allows the air through lowering the pressure when you get that gust like from a truck.
