It ain't a tank unless it holds gas! It's a shelter, false tank, etc.. Fit's '80 to '83.

Sorry, one of my pet peeves. On my old KZ1100, I enjoyed the real tank up there. Once I ran out of gas, and I just unsnapped the tank off the bike, disconnect the two fuel lines and carried the tank to a gas station.

Yeah, not cool to run out of gas. What happens is you are on the main tank, you sputter, hit the reserve lever and go find a station. Fill up, and the next time it sputters, you are OUT cause you forgot to flip the petcock back to ON when you filled up, it's still on RES. Been there, done that.
