I generally wear denium while riding my wing. I have noticed slight scuffs on the gas tank from my knees, nothing major but something to attend to. I do keep a good coat of wax on it but some type of tank protector pads would be nice. There are many types and styles out there but I do not want to use the type that require an adhesive. Magnetic pads, that have some style to them would be nice. Suggestions!

The tank is plastic ,so the magnetic type will not work ,Why not get a bit of clear adhesive plastic and cut it to the shape you need and stick it on ,That way you will still be able to see the original colour and have protection as well .Ciaran

Yes of course the tank outer case and a hell of a lot of other real estate is plastic. Just what the hell was I thinking? Must have had a brain cramp. I certainly will consider the clear plastic,thanks.

Yes, there are some available at wingstuf.com that act as the static cling type. You can peel them off for cleaning if you need to.
