I've seen that before, not bad for a 2 page homepaghe. I found the car alternator-GL1200 conversion interesting, although the placing of it out side the rocker cover isn't ideal (surely the rain will get in). I seen another conversion somewhere where the alternator was shoehorned behind the lower fairing panel and was well concealed. Can't recall where I seen it though.

If anyone has the link for any of the car alternator conversions I would really like to have them. I have a GL1100, and right now the stator seems to be in great shape (knock on wood), but I'd like to go ahead and plan for a replacement.
