My compliments to the both of you for making the M&G a huge success! I don't think I ever saw Cindy that she wasn't setting something up, taking it down, serving food or organizing something. Wilton and Cindy obviously put a lot of effort into preparing everything, ride maps, T-shirts, Dinner (great dinner) etc, etc. Wilton was aways making sure everyone wasdoing great, suggesting great rides and excellent company. The Best Western was a very nice and reasonably pricedmotel.

There are a lot of behind the scenes coordinating, organizing, planning that is never seen by the attendees - but it does not go unnoticed.

Many Thanks for your Efforts!!! :clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper:

Both Cindy and Wiltonwere like little angels ,they were always doing something to make our stay better , They had everything just perfect and with the help of 96aspencade and Barb they made a great team . Everybody had a great time here and I must say we may have been small in numbers but we were huge in Quality . Wilton and Cindy took Thurs off to bring myself and Fabienne ,Bob and Barb on a 400 mile loop around some of the most stunning scenery I have seen in a long long time .

Yjeu were the perfect hosts and deserve a huge THANK YOU from all of us .It was great to meet all our friends from last year (and tricky and exavid:D)and super to meet the new faces that turned up ,It was so amazing to hear how far some members had travelled just to be here and I hope everybody enjoyed it and it was worthwhile .

Next years Nassir will be decided in the coming days and we would ask you pleassssseeeee do not put your name down if you are not 100% sure you are going to attend . Thank you to all the members who could not make it BUT sent me and Wilton Pms to letus know ,I know it was a difficult year for many many members andhopefully you will all make it next year ,There were many members who put their names on the list and never bothered to let anybody know that they were not coming and Wilton and Cindy went to great trouble to cater for the numbers that were onthe list ,

This nassir 2 was excellent and very different from last year .Everybody did their own thing during the day with the help of the ride out maps etc and then in the evenings we all gathered at the Hotel and had a blast just chatting and then there was the Auction :D nuff said about that :cheeky1::cheeky1:

I am looking forward to meeting you all again next year ,I will post all the details for next year as soon as I get back to normal life in Ireland ,, NO POLLS for next year .simple as that ,no point in having polls when the members who voted never turned up ... so lesson learned .no polls .. Ciaran

And Thanks for opening your garage for repairs.
What could have turned into a real job was made easy by your hospitality and by the expertise of Goldwings 4 ever (Bob) and Tricky (Rick).
Thanks again for all your help.

I also want to add what is really just a duplication of the above.

The Best Western folks went out of their way to make us comfortable. All of their staff were well versed in making a traveler comfortable. Even the poor lady on the desk who was really apologetic about the internet dying a horrible death. Turns out it was the Public Telephone company as the whole of east Main street lost their internet.

Wilton & Cindy performed far better at being hosts than a paid host convention company could have. They cared, and they always had our best interests at heart. And they were supposed to be able to "just enjoy" the rally like all the rest of us. I hope they did, it seemed like both of them were always doing something to keep things moving.

Mardonna thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking to all of you. She regrets that she only felt good enough to get out of the hotel room for one day. But that is the nature of her medical condition, 1 good day followed by 2 days of misery. But she would not have missed it for all the tea in China and that means that all of you were swell folks to meet with.

I personally enjoyed the longer "one on one" sessions that a smaller turn out provides an opportunity for. There are pros and cons to big rallies. I fully appreciate meeting each of you and having a chance to "get to know you". neither of us will forget this year's rally. It was a rip roaring success and makes two in a row that went above board with great host and hostess. Thank you Cindy & Wilton and last year, Tom and your very lovely wife (memory blank here).

A very notable highlight to this year's rally for me. Meeting up with Henning from Denmark. What a wonderful fellow.

Henning just left my home, we had 3 hours together and he talked about a lot of things that he has done around the world. No way I can do justice to the conversation.

Let's just say that we are all more alike than we or foreigners. A motorcyclist who loves the world, he is also a pilot and owns a trike that he keeps in his garage at home. We have similar interests and a lot of parallels in life's experiences.

He will be back here in January for a week, to m/c around and to fly a trike and to spend a few days in Navajo land. He made friends up there, and they insisted he come back and stay with them there. Again, he is just a marvelous fellow with a very outgoing personality.

Yes, the NASSIR II event in Montrose was fabulous.

I want to thank Wilton and Cindy for their their generous hospitality and kindness to us. This was our first time to the USA and they put their hearts and souls into making sure our visit to Montrose was a memorable and enjoyable one. Cindy in particular arranged lots of things and put a lot of effort into making sure that things went smoothly. We also owe Bob and Barb a big thank you for all the help they gave to Wilton and Cindy over the few days.

Thanks to everyone who we met in Montrose, it was great to put faces to names at last. The auction was a good laugh and we gave all the money raised from it to Wilton and Cindy to hand over to a charity or other deserving cause in due course. Thanks also for the money raised by the Rhinos, which will come in useful for forum fundraisers.

Dylan will post his thanks later on when he comes back in from the pool. A bus load of schoolkids around his age pulled in last night and of course there are girls in the group...

I should have also thanked Bob and Barbara for their contributions helping Cindy and Wilton, they also did a great deal to help out. Barbara was the first to greet us as we rolled in late, then Wexy. We got a nice greet and send off and everything in between was grand.

Now be fair Wexy.A number ofmembers who voted showed up, and many of the cancellations came from East of the mountains and some even from across the pond.:) I'm not suggesting a poll, I'm just reminding you of the facts. ;)

John
Sorry john, that should have read "when some members who voted and put their names on the list never showed up "wexy
