ok here is an update on my trailer.
i had to put a converter on it for the lights,
and i painted it up to match the bike it is
nothing special just and old spray bomb
but it does the job for me..
i put 8 hooks in the floor on the inside so i could strap
my cargo down if i want to, i didnt paint the inside
or put carpet in it because i will spray the inside out with
the hose pipe. here is a pic of finished product.....

Looks good to me. I went with the double bicycle kick stand for my tongue.

Looks good but i am wondering if the hitch should be on the other side, axel looks kinda far forward for keeping weight on the hitch. Good lookin set up though.

i cut the front of the trailer down to fit the cooler.

it balances out fine this way with the weight of cooler and
the spare tire under there it all equals out

Here's a not so good pic of the wooden bumper on my brothers trailer.

On mine the rear tire sticks out enough to work as a rear bumper.

Here's the link to my trailer pics during construction. My brother did all the fitting, cutting and welding for me. All my trailer lights are now led's.

Actually my axle is dead center to the frame, the frame has just been cut down in length and width. It tows beautifully with no duck walking or sway. The weight of the rear mounted tire helps off-set the weight of a full cooler with drinks, food and ice.

mine is still center of the frame i just cut the front the trailer off it pulls great just ant hauled it loaded yet

Experiment with your loads by placing a bathroom scale under the tongue. Balance it for no more than 25 lbs of tongue weight. You'll get the hang of it after a few loads.

I also run no more than 25 lbs of air pressure in the tires, some go as low as 15 on theirs, helps keep down the bouncing when lightly loaded or empty.

so where all do you like to ride im takeing a trip from the va line all the way back down the blue ridge and going to stay the night in maggie valley going to pull the trailer with me ill be we will be leaving out on the 12 and back on the 15

The BRP is my favorite ride, mostly the lower end from Asheville south. We are planning a day ride from Asheville north to the Virginia line and come back down to return home by 221.
