What a great day for a ride across the endless miles of Saskatchewan Temp in the 70s and hardly a breath of wind...600 km(360 miles)Tomorrows weather doesnt sound so inviting but if alls well be in Calgary Alberta tomorrow afternoon .We'll take a few days off to visit the grandkids, then off to the Rockies and on to Vancouver Island.

Well, if today's weather hereis any indication(32*C/87*F today - warmer tomorrow), you'll be running into fine weather for the next couple of days .... that is if it doesn't get 'screwed up', once over the Rockies and over Calgary way.

Have a safe and enjoyableride! :action:

must have gotton lucky, cause it didnt rain till we got into Calgary.Only problem is,we lost the speedometer at the Alberta border. Checked the cable and it and the head seem ok, but the drive is prety stiff and wont turn in the drive at the wheel, so I assume thats my problem. Got my gps so I know how fast I'm running but is it going to cause a problem that should be looke at, or can it wait till I get home 5000 km away?

... I would just wait until you get home. what's done is done already. Can't hurt it now.

time to go. although its been a great time visiting with our kids and grandgids. We have a window this morning so time to head for the mountains. Not calling for any funnelclouds or tonado warning, but at 10 C(50 f) a bit chilly, but so it goes. Looking forward to the mountains. Although we've been through them many times in thecar and semi, first time on a bike. should be a hoot !!!!
