Just got all the paperwork together and the title is in the mail :action:

Picked the bike up CHEAP and it has no key

Smells of cat urine:doh:

Best way to start without the key :baffled:

Buy a new switch or call a locksmith :baffled:

Can I pop the tumblers out of the OEM switch :(

I think you can remove the switch part without the wiring, then take the switch to a locksmith and have them make a key for ya.,,

You can get the electrical system fired up by jumpering from the battery to the fuse box.
You can't get the lock cylinder out to get the tumblers out without the key.
Can't help you with the smell though.

Just for Cats, Urine-Off or Wee Cleaner

They all have enzymes which break down cat pee, doubt if they are guaranteed for bikes though.

A real locksmith wouldn't have any problem cutting a key. You should be able to get the code off any lock on the bike.

More than likely after you wash it,most of the smell will go away. The tires may be the hard thing to get the smell off of. Seems the rubber would hold he smell longer than the metal and plastic. Give it a good washing and make sure you clean out all the nooks and crannies. Then I would try the enzyme type pet odor neutralizer. Natures Miracle is really good and pretty safe on most materials.

Good Luck with your project.

Maybe we should call you "WEE MAN":cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

SC, if it still has the factory helmet lock on the side, pull the lock off and take it to a locksmith. For around $5 they'll cut you a key to fit it.

Take the lock and key back home, replace the lock, start the bike with the new key. :)
