Best to ask about abs ..it does up the asking price a bit though ..my non abs under normal emergency braking is great add a little wet or gravel and abs would be nice ..love my bike maybe not quite as comfy as the 1500 .. it's close and the added horsepower and handling one me over

Well I went and did it..........

Got a 2001 GL1800 ABS model with a ton of chrome and extras, along with the Candy Red Color, it's a sharp looking bike and under 40K miles. Its an out of state purchase so Im picking it up next week sometime. Will post pictures when I get it home, but here is one that the owner sent to me.

Congates on the bike .. Sounds like mine except no abs you lucky fellow
