Thats pretty cool. At one point between 19 seconds and 25 seconds when they show an overhead shot, if you watch the center of the screen you can see them starting to bunch up. Good foot braking and working the clutch paid off well for them.
Reminds me of traffic in New York city.
Here ya go Mel, to save your faceplant account......

Those videos always make me feel so inferior.
.

That takes trust and timing.

No need mate, there is only one of you :D, there were dozens of them and they will have practiced and practiced for the event.
I doubt there are many countries that could field that sort of number of motorcycle cops to do something like that these days. :sadguy:

Thank you, Silverfox.... I couldn't find the thing....
That is incredible. I couldn't imagine the hours that those guys have practiced to perfect that performance.

I'd say they have spent more time practicing than patroling the streets.
The few motorcycle police that we have left, mainly only carry out ceremonial duties as escorts for foreign dignitaries and Royalty, or otherwise doing motorcycle courses for motorcyclists like me, advanced riding that is usually only a one day course called, Bike Safe. Their roll as patrol officers has more or less ended due to them being considered too vulnerable.
Those Italian Police do ride well in that video. There are several copies of it running around the 'net attributing it to either 1935 or 1950. Both do show Rome in the beginning.
I only saw like 64 times where I would have screwed all that up !!! LOL
