I AM TRYING TO REMOVE THE CARBURATOR UNIT FROM MY 1982 GOLDWING GL1100 AS ONE PIECE. I HAVE IT ALL DISCONNECTED EXCEPT FOR THE THROTTLE CABLES.I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO UNHOOK FOR THIS.CAN ANY ONE HELP? THANKS BUDDYBOY!!!!

The 10mm nuts holding them on have to be loosened. you will also probalby need to pry the lug open a bit for the threaded part to clear it.

Thise lugs always need to be pried outwards, its the same on teh GL1500.

That's common practice on lots of motorcycles. Undo the locking nuts and wide out the tab, you can squeeze it bak in after wards.

Hi buddyboy. Mine a GL1100 as well and I had to pry open the tab as well. My n#main problem tough was getting at the screw holding the choke cable in place.
