Most likely not, and my suggestion is that if you answer the question "when were the belts last changed?" with "I don't know", then the time to change them is now.

That depends. If the PO had all his work done at a dealer and you can identify the dealer, they can tell you.

If in doubt just change the belts or it bye bye to the valves. I know by experiance.

Just did mine, and so glad I did. They were getting hard. Not a bad job really. Just be pataint with it and refer to Rudys guide......... VERY HELPFUL.
