I bought this bike with the stator out in it,i proceded to put the conversion on it. ichanged the timing belts because i was right there anyway. put it all back together and when i started it it runs for a few seconds and then something stops the motor from running, like the starter is not disengauging and hitting the flywheel.. my question is , could i have got the timing belts off some and bent the valves because it wont turn over now. where are the timing marks at. and also, if i did bend the valves where do i start getting info on tearing it down.your input would be appreciated.. i put the belts on just like the old ones came off. plus it has a slight ticking noise on rt side..
