Will this BELTED DUNLOP 491 ELITE MT TIRE 90/B17

fit on a 1980 GL1100 Goldwing? Its for the front. Mine takes a 100x90x19, and I just don't know about this one. I cannot find any info on it.

No, a 17" tire will not fit on a 19" wheel.

:waving:The correct size front tirefor the '80-'81 GL1100 is 110/90-19 and the rear is 130/90-17This info is from the Honda GoldWing 1980-83 Service Manual.

Just got me a new front tire UPS today for my 1981 gl 1100, a Dunlop D404F 110/90 19 . I can't find a 491 Elite II to fit mine front or back anymore!
If anyone knows where to get some please let me know, there must be some left hiding in a warehouse somewhere. picasso

Randaak has some good things to say about this tire size in the IRC DuroTour RS310 series and they are cheap.

I've decided to go with the a Dunlop D404F 110/90/19. Good price, as well as quality. I have a new one already on the rear, and thanks to Nightwizard40 for getting it on for me. I appreciate you Nightwizard.

You may want to look at the wieght rating of the Dunlop 404, it is 694 pounds at 41psi.
You might be overloading that tire a lot if you run two up and any stuff in sadle bags etc.
