As a soon to be new 1800 owner, I am looking into everything to allow my riding to be safer and to stretch the riding season as long as I can. I am already looking at heated clothing and grips, was also curious about tire monitors. I have seen a few types, some have the sensors mounted inside the tire, some have monitors that replace the valve cap. Has anyone tried either of these types? Is one better then the other? Are the internal kind effected by a tyre sealant such as puncture seal?

congratulations on your new wing, i hope to upgrade to an 1800 :18blue:early next year.

Regarding your question on tyre pressure monitors, I personaly like to manualy check the tyre pressures every week, together with oil levels etc.:weightlifter:

I just put tyre sealant in, with the pack came a leaflet on valve cap monitors. log onto
