What bike? Are you asking how to fill the bowls with the Yamaha stuff?

I never did the procedure, but I suppose you could remove the float bowl drain screws (the brass one's at the bottom of each bowl) to drain the gas. After re-installing the drain screws it would probably be best to pour the gas/cleaner in via fuel hose closest to the carbs thereby avoiding the fuel pump. I'd use a syringe to do it rather than a small funnel.

I don't know about the tapping, but if you wanted to tap on the bowls a bit you could use a long extension or dowel with a very small hammer.
