Tourquing Heads on a 1982 Goldwing Aspencade 1100

I'm just rebuilding my 1982 Goldwing and now am at the point of putting the heads back on. I don't know what tourque to tourque them too? Can someone please help.

Also when I put the covers back over the timing belts which hole does the long bolt go into? There are two sizes and wasn't paying attention to what came out of which hole!..

The torque is 40 lbs but more importantly is the tightening sequence and pattern.
This info is in the repair manual.

To Start the Torque, Start with the Middle Bottom, until is is snug. Then the Center top till it is snug. Then the Bottom Left till it is snug, Then the Top Right till it is snug, then the bottom Right till it is snug, then the top Left till it is snug. Repeat this sequence IN THIS EXACT ORDER EVERY TIME and by turning EACH BOLT 2 TURNS IN the above ORDER until you reach 40 ft Ls per bolt. The Bottom 6mm bolt torques to 8 ft. lbs. (Last one to torque) Make sure you do not set your sync tool to 55 N m thinking it is "ft lbs" on the new torque wrenches.

1. Center Bottom
2. Center top.
3. Bottom Left
4. Top Right
5. Bottom Right
6. Top Left
7. Bottom 6mm Bolt Last at 8 ft lbs.

:waving:Here is the GL1100 head bolttorque sequence which is from the 1980-1983 Honda GoldWing Service Manual. Remember to coat the bolt threads and the underside of the bolt heads with the specified grease per the "NOTE"
