I am thinking on building a trailer for my 1500. How do I wire it to bike? What trailer hitch do I buy for a 1999 1500? I like the h.f. trailer its in my price range. Where are you buying carriers? Does the tongue have to swivel ? How much is it going to cost me for everything all I have is the bike?

Thanks for the info I am going to start saving if anyone has anything I could use such as hitch wire harness etc let me know

I am on my way to starting a trailer build Doug W from this site has a hitch for my bike and a car carrier I just pm him and told him I wanted it. Just a few hours drive and I should have it hopefully if he can wait till weekend. Thanks for all the help. I have a 1999 1500 are all the hitches the same for 1500 not sure what year dougs bike is
