Just to let exavid know, I did change out the transmission cover gasket and coolant O-rings (OEM parts) on my '78... so far, so good and no leak! between my 1200 and '78 I believe I could change out that cover and gasket blindfolded! Figured out and fixed the leak on my harley as well!

So, off the subject! What I have liked the most riding cycles for 30 years..... had lots of friends with lots of different bikes. And being a long-time part of the United Sidecar association with folks who watched my kids grow up and we watched theirs... lots of different bikes... lots of different sidecars... plenty of opinions...

what I liked the best is having friends who rode with two (and three) wheels... the journey and friendships have made it worth while. not the brand of bike or sidecar

What the heck, the only reason to play with these things is for the fun of it!:jumper:

Well said lads. The toys just open up new avenues of friendship for us, just like these forums do. :waving:

I agree, the big boys toys are not much use if we keep them to ourselves. Much better when we get involved in things with them and other people. :waving:
