Bought this bike a couple of years ago and never knew tha there was a trickle charger installed in the little cubby hole by the pasengers seat. My question is, to use the charger do I need to disconnect the battery from the bike before I plug in the charger or can I leave everything hooked up and plug the charger into the wall?

Just plug it in as long as it is connected to the bike you are charging

But don't forget to disconnect it before you start your bike. In some instances it can play heck on the LC screen, unless you don't have one. Still would be a good idea.

agree with all....just be sure to watch your water level in the battery, and fill'er up every now and then... as the slow trickle, (can) tend to use some up, and if it gets low, the batterys a goner.... been there, done that, even being on the safe, trickle, etc...
