I have a chance to buy a complete 1989 gl1500 trike that alot of parts are missing from the engine and front body , trike parts are all there , I do not know the brand name of the trike and neither does the guy that has it as he inherited it , my question is will this trike kit bolt on my 1999 gl1500 ? Thanks for any response on this subject.

Welcome Aboard.
A picture of the conversion would work if you have one so it can be identified.
The conversion process is normally exchanging the swing arm and minor frame modification.
Hopefully the conversion is not a homemade hack job.
:)
Most likely,
the frame AFAIK, did not change over the years.

but I really suspect you are going to have to be willing to make some major adjustments for the brackets to fit properly.

alignment is critical, find out every thing you can on that topic

the Rear Brakes situation is a Real Deal to mess with, lots of issues have been discovered over the years.

all of it can be overcome, but you are going to have to put in a LOT of hours doing it.
That is a Roadsmith Ultimate Trike conversion, it looks to be missing the fender skirt. When it was made it was under the name Trike Shop. That is an independent suspension conversion. Hopefully the fender skirts are with it in the trunk. Custom Motorcycle Trike Conversion Kits and Accessories | Roadsmith Trikes

Could be a champion conversation. They are out of business. I have a 1996 converted in 2014. I'm in Rochester NY if I can help.

This photo is better than the red one, the Ultimate conversion was a very elegant design and unlike others out there. I always liked the looks of it on the GL1500. The blue one he is looking at also has the auxiliary fuel cell and that is a plus, I just hope the fender skirts are with it and if Roadsmith has the molds a replacement set can be made. It is also a long wheel-base trike conversion for a smoother ride.
