We did wake up early but didnt help much since we decided to do a short walk to Waffle House.
The ride was much more plesant since the temps were lower
We crossed Mississippi at Greenville for a change to previous trips.
Left Little Rock for the twisties of the Ozark Forest.
We rode for many hours on empty roads with roling hills and lots of curves.
My wife and I planned luch at Sand Gap.
There is nothing in there but an abandoned building.
We planed to ride the map shown in here which contains "Arkansas Dragon"
but i think we messed up at an intersection and made a left on 16 instead of stright on 123 N . Nevertheless planty of turns. We arrived in Eurika Springs and will be here for two days.
Enjoying Eurika Springs.
Lots of shops, restaurants, good riding place.
When I inspected the head lights one was out. While doing the laundry
I walked next door to O Reilly Auto and purchased 2 H7 Silverstar.
When I turned them on to see which is out the second one went out too. Talking about close.
It is ridiculous they only warranty them for 100 hrs.
Here are some pics of Eurika. Tomorow well pack up and hit the road
In the AM we visited Quigly Castle in Eurika where an interesting lady lived with her husband. She covered a lot of things in concrete as a form of art, even a pair of shoes.
I rate this atraction par with Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo Tx. A place to kill some time
In the AM we took a train ride for almost 2 hrs.
Total waste of money.
Then after we went to lunch by the lake. There is a free water and fire show every hour. The lunch was great and the show nice.
If you can, stop in this city. Lots of lots of restaurants, hotels, shows.
This concludes our Branson experience as we'll move on.
