That would be great
We are all dressed up with no place to go. Intended to take our friends to Branson and/or Eureka Springs. But no rooms available anywhere. I don't know what's going on. I guess the people got the urge to take a trip outside the local area.
In Albuquerque we paid over $300/ night per room and barely could find one.
Well decide at breakfast and let you know.

Today's ride was short and unpleasant because of the crosswinds.
We had the pleasure of meeting
Charlie ( Flylow) his wife Connie and John
( Azgl1800) again
Over dinner we talked about motorcycles .,airplanes and other subjects. It was a very good get together.
They came from around Tulsa for more than an hour ride. What an honor.
And to top it off Connie reached in her purse and paid for everyone's dinner without us realizing it

Over dinner we talked about motorcycles .,airplanes and other subjects. It was a very good get together.

I really enjoyed our two hours of visiting, was great to meet good friends who live so far apart.
yup, we flew a few airplanes of all sorts tonight
and landed a couple in trees and had to get them down
but it was fun...
was great to meet up with Ray and wife for the 1st time, a fantastic friend you have there Peter, it seems that the two wives are best buds 👥

We are just East of Mississippi River in Vicksburg MS.

From vicksburg we had a great ride tnru backroads most of the way in Mississippi

I wanted to revisit Santa Rosa Island near Pensacola to take a few pics..
Just didn't come out too great. White sand and green, bluish waters. Years back I took good pics in the same location.
Tonight we sleep near Tallahassee again and I see our tracks overlaping.
Tomorrow we should be home with 28

We're home. Another great trip accomplished.
Very happy our friends joined us. It was more enjoyable.
This was their first trip far away and I was concerned how comfortable they would feel.
A week before departure we explained to them the rough condition we must ride in:
rain, strong winds, too hot or too cold. Long hours on highways
They did not disappoint us
Just as before we had a decent breakfast everyday skipped lunch and had an early dinner.
Most of the hotels cost an average of $100/130 night. We mostly stayed at Comfort Inn
In Albuquerque we paid $300.00 per night
In two occasions we stayed at cheap places for about $70.00.Breakfast is served in half of them. The others claim Covid
As we did in the beginning Debra and Ray carried too much useless stuff.
I saw Ray shivering on a few occasions and I offered to take longer inside the store breaks but he denied it.
Our heated vest worked fine and we used them for half of the trip.
Also Ray did not have a hitch rack and used a large waterproof bag on his trunk rack.
Way too big for windy conditions.
But he handled it well.
If we ever go back to Colorado or Wyoming it has to be midsummer. In October is too cold and you run the risk of getting snowed in.
It looks like the next trip for all four of us will be South Dakota in June. Well see a lot of you in there.
Unfortunately Ray and Deb leave two streets south of us so we won't get the long distance travel award. Lol
One picture of us is from Ouray by a waterfall and the other is Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
