Just got back last night. We left Indianapolis, IN on tuesday morning off to Knoxville, TN then to Asheville, NC then to Charleston, WV & then back home. About1200 miles.The mountains are as breathtaking as I thought they would be. A lot of little side trips & alot of good BBQ.

don't you love the toll road in WVA it is worse than non toll roads

We went up US23 & 119 to avoid the toll road when we went from Asheville, NC to Charleston, WV. Part of that stretch is where the pictures are from.
