A similar fix using thinner tube has been around for years, but the thicker tubing in Steves fix does a better job and lasts longer, although is harder to get the thicker tube into the rubbers. The thin tubing tends to collapse eventually and you are back to square one, better to use the thicker hose as Steve suggests.
