any one ever add turn down pipes to there 1200. I found a set that has twin pipes on eace side. It has a flange that has a set of clamps to go aroung the flange to seal it up to the stock headers. looks like it would be an easy change over as it has the crossover pipe on it.

just want to know if they run quite and do they look good on there. thanks chuck.

My '86 has them on it, but they were already installed when I bought it. It is quiet, but I wouldn't say it's quieter than any other 1200. Here's a picture from the back.

They're tips. You can see the clamp where they attach to the original pipes in the picture below.
