I am having a problem with the turn signals on my Aspencade. Since I recently purchased the bike, the turn signals have only worked upon occasion. They will only work once and a while. I tried replacing the flasher with an automotive electronic one and that didnt work either.
Any ideas. I cant get the bike safety cert. without it.
Thanks

When mine quit it was because the handlebar switch was full of dirt, grease, corrosion. Cleaned it up and filed the contacts (very carefully) and problem cured.

It may be that the self-canceling function has failed. Lots of posts in this forum on how to eliminate it from the circuitry.

Mine turned out to be a weak battery.

Drive around town, and it wouldnt charge as well.

Didnt have enough juice to work the thermal element in the flasher.

Thanks guys
Found the problem. It was with the flasher. Put the old flasher back in and smacked it with a screw driver. Works ok again.
I dont know why the new electronic flasher didnt work as per some of the threads recommended in this forum.
