I spotted an 1800 today riding in my town and his blinkers caught my eye.

As the blinker blinks for a trun the trunk break lights alternate from left to right light an emergency beacon. This really caught my eye and think it will do the same to others.

has anyone seen this or can it be a custom or aftermarket system.

There are a few ways to accomplish this. I've volunteered for escort duty (funerals, rides, etc) when I had my full dresser and I've used three different methods to accomplish the "wig wag" over the years for different people/ bikes. The first and easiest is to go to your local auto parts store and buy two standard flasher relays (about 6 bux a pop). Hot from battery to toggle---Toggle to each flasher relay--- Each flasher relay to one light. Will accomplish the "wig wag", but will NOT by synched. Another way is to go to the Kawasaki dealer and request the "pursuit relay" for one of the KZ 1000 P (Police Special) motorcycles. You can get one on line for about $70.00. Basically, a three pronged flasher relay. One hot "in" splits to two lines out for "wig wag" effect. Small and easy to hook up. Last way I have done the conversion is to find a junked school bus and get the relay out of it. Same wire hook up as the pursuit relay. Each of the relays can be spliced into the original turn signal circuit so you don't have to buy additional lights if you don't want. You can spend hundreds on "custom" applications, but there's really no need to. Zap me if you have any questions. =) Squirts
